The OS Reinstallation feature allows you to install a fresh operating system on your VPS, completely replacing the current one. This is useful when starting over or switching to a different Linux distribution.

Warning: This operation will permanently erase all data on your server and cannot be undone. Make sure you have backups of your data before proceeding.

Accessing OS Reinstallation

  1. Log in to the Client Area.
  2. Go to Services and select the relevant service.
  3. In the server dashboard, expand the Advanced Operations section.
  4. Click Reinstall OS.

Reinstallation Steps

Step 1 — Select an Operating System
  1. On the OS Reinstallation page, you will see a grid of available operating systems.
  2. Your current OS is marked with a Current badge for easy identification.
  3. If more than eight systems are available, click Show More to view the full list.
  4. Click the card of the desired operating system to select it.
Step 2 — Submit the Request
  1. After selecting the OS, click the Reinstall Operating System button.
  2. A confirmation dialog will appear showing the New System you selected.
  3. If your account has a security question configured, you will be prompted to answer it to verify your identity.
  4. Click Yes, Proceed to confirm the request.
Note: Once the request is submitted successfully, you will receive an email when the installation is complete. The server status will change to Installing during this period.

Important Notes

  • A waiting period is enforced between reinstall requests. You cannot submit a new request until it expires.
  • Reinstallation cannot be performed while a backup or upgrade is in progress.
  • All files, configurations, and data on the server will be permanently deleted with no possibility of recovery.
