Rebooting your server terminates all running processes and restarts the operating system. This is useful when applying system updates or resolving performance issues that do not respond to standard solutions.

Note: Rebooting will cause a temporary interruption to all services running on your server. Make sure to save your work before proceeding.

How to Reboot Your VPS

  1. Log in to the Client Area.
  2. Go to Services and select the relevant service.
  3. In the server dashboard, expand the Power & Access section.
  4. Click the Reboot Server button.
  5. A confirmation dialog will appear. Click Reboot Server to confirm.
  6. The server status will change to Rebooting and the process completes within a few minutes.

When Reboot Is Not Available

In certain situations, rebooting will not be possible:

  • Backing Up: Wait for the backup to complete before retrying.
  • Installing: Wait for the OS installation to finish.
  • Upgrading: Wait for the upgrade process to complete.
  • Already Rebooting: A reboot is already in progress. Wait for it to finish.
  • Stopping: The server is shutting down. Wait a moment and try again.
  • Maintenance: Try again later or contact support if the issue persists.
  • Stopped: A stopped server cannot be rebooted. Start it first from the dashboard.
